Something Funny

I was late today and as you can imagine in a hurry to get out the door.  About half way to the office I realized that my phone was at home on the charger.  There was no time to return for it so I spent the day without my phone.  I know this sounds silly, but I almost felt undressed.  It was as if something was missing and I knew it.

On the way back home I had to stop and mail a package.  At the post office I realized that the address I needed was, you guessed it, on the phone.  I use a pda phone and it has way too much information stored on it.  My next thought was funny, “I will call Angie (my wife) and she can give me the address.â€Â  Ya, right! How am I going to do that?  My phone is there.  I gave up and drove home!

Does anyone remember the days when we used a quarter and a pay phone?  Just a reminder to be grateful for what we have and not to become too dependant on it!
