B.A., M.A. & License
This Christian Counselor Education Program will equip counselors, pastors, or any other mature believer desiring to be equipped and gain a faith based license through the N.C.C.A. and qualify for a B.A. in Christian Counseling and M.A. in Clinical Christian Counseling.
Upon successful completion of this program applicants will gain membership in the National Christian Counselors Association, will qualify to use the A.P.S. profile, be a Certified Temperament Counselor and gain recognition in the N.C.C.A. as a Professional Clinical Member (clergy).

Counselor Training Procedures and Requirements
This Christian counseling education program is designed for mature Christians who have graduated from high school or hold a G.E.D. and elect to complete the requirements for license and qualify for a B.A. in Christian Counseling and M.A. in Clinical Christian Counseling.
The N.C.C.A. breaks all programs into phases. This program consists of phases 1, 2 & 3. Each phase contains specific requirements that must be completed before moving into the next phase of study.
Phase 1
Courses - Each candidate must complete the following 6 courses:
Faith Counseling and Training has redesigned our clinical supervision process to exceed the NCCA requirements and further benefit students. Each student will administer the required amount of clinical APS profiles to the clients they are working with. When the report is processed the clinical supervisor will contact the student to discuss the report with them before they meet with the client. The student then meets with their client for at least 3-5 sessions. When this is completed the student is then required to write a case study on the counseling sessions. The case study format is predesigned with guidelines to protect confidential information. This assignment later becomes part of the clinical supervision requirements and of the degree requirements if one is chosen.

Phase 2
Courses - Each candidate must complete the following 3 courses:
Complete Practicum and Clinical Supervision – phase 2 requires 15 APS reports.

Annual membership and license renewal is required. Membership is currently $50 per year and license renewal is $20 per year (total $70). A signed affidavit verifying continuing education must be submitted annually for license renewal.
* Candidates who are not already ordained, licensed or commissioned as a minister of the gospel are required to obtain credible ministerial credentials in order to receive the N.C.C.A. license.

Phase 3

Schedule and Time Limitations
All Christian Counseling Education programs are designed to be flexible. However, there are limitations on the length of time given and regular contact that is required. Please see general policies for detailed information on this subject.
The average time to complete this Christian Counselor Training Program is 18 - 30 months.
Cost
The entire program can be paid for in advance or you may choose to pay as you go.
The application and 1st course is $310.00 when using the pay as you go method.
Total Program Costs = $8,667.00 (Includes Tuition, Books, Fees and Matriculation costs. Does not include shipping or cost of ministerial credentials.)
