License, B.A. & M.A. This program is designed for mature believers (usually over the age of 30) with 5 or more years of experience in ministry who desire to qualify for both their B.A. in Christian Counseling and their M.A. in Clinical Christian Counseling. In the process they will also qualify for faith based licensure through the National Christian Counselors Association. Benefits Upon successful completion of this program applicants will gain membership in Sarasota Academy of Christian Counseling, will qualify to use the A.P.S. profile, be a Certified Temperament Counselor and gain recognition in the N.C.C.A. as a Professional Clinical Member (clergy). In addition applicants who successfully complete the program will also qualify for:

Procedures and Requirements
Complete Phase 1
Courses - Each candidate must complete the following 5 courses:
Complete a Practicum - This consists of administering the A.P.S. to 10 individuals under the direction of an assigned and approved clinical supervisor.

After completing all of the requirements for Phase 1, the candidate will (assuming everything is in order) receive:
* All B.A. Degrees are awarded from Calvary Theological Seminary
Complete Phase 2
Courses - Each candidate must complete the following 4 courses:
Complete a practicum - This consists of administering the A.P.S. to 15 additional individuals under the direction of an assigned and approved clinical supervisor.

After successfully completing all of the requirements for Phase 2, the candidate will (assuming everything is in order) receive:
Or, if it bests describes the candidates local ministry, he/she may request to be licensed as a Licensed Clinical Christian Counselor (regardless of degree level)
Annual membership and license renewal is required. Membership is $50.00 per year and license renewal is $20.00 per year (total $70.00). A signed affidavit verifying continuing education must be submitted annually for license renewal.
* Candidates who are already ordained, licensed or commissioned as a minister of the gospel are atomically exempt from this course. Candidates who are not already ordained, licensed or commissioned as a minister of the gospel may be required to complete this course through the National Conservative Christian Church and become commissioned as a Minister of Counseling.

Courses - Each candidate must select and complete 8 advanced courses. These can be found under Advanced Certificates. Complete the following:
After successfully completing all of the requirements for Phase 2, the candidate will (assuming everything is in order) receive:
Special Note: Commitment to the entire program is required. A candidate cannot complete the B.A. portion and then discontinue his/her studies unless providentially hindered. The B.A. will be considered invalid if the M.A. requirements are not fulfilled.
